The afternoon that God brought Trent home to heaven was the afternoon that God opened my eyes to see the multitude of lost souls that surrounded us. I saw, like never before, that each of those souls had an eternal destination and that they, too, might face their Creator sooner than they realized; one day they would each give an account before God.
As I wrote and wrote on the blog, pouring out my pleas to God, praising His name and recording His works, it became clear that He was calling me to write a book. So, with much prayer and perseverance, a book was written.
It's the story of Trent's life and what God chose to do with it. A book of hope in a glorious God that has everything planned out; even our suffering, even taking twelve year old boys to heaven. About a God who has plans to prosper us, not to harm us. It's a book about salvation, grief, trust, reality and ultimately of joy.
