Righteousness Part II
Romans 9:30-32My concluding thoughts on Righteousness...
There are 2 forms of righteousness. One that is attained by faith, and one that is attempted to gain by works (the law). The righteousness that is acceptable to God is only by faith, and at the core is only given by God. We cannot obtain it by ourselves. In this world, many will try to attain it by works, fooling the rest of us by their outward appearance that they have obtained it. The rest of us screwed up people are only holding on to Christ and the faith he gives freely. As scripture says, God has chosen the foolish to shame the wise. That would be me.
